Call to Artist: Circles & Squares

Karen Black of the Blue Heron Gallery in Wyalusing has announced a Call for Artists  for the next upcoming show at the Blue Heron Art Gallery in Wyalusing, Pa. The show is open to all mediums and is entitled: Circles & Squares. Each work of art should have an obvious circular or square image or it can incorporate both geometrical ideals. Examples are round bales of hay dotting a summer field or the squares of windowpanes in an abandoned factory building.
If you would like your work considered for the show cards, please submit a HI-RES image to suzuka928@gmail.com no later December 10th. Hanging for the show is February 4th with the show opening on Saturday, February 9th (3PM – 8PM) to coincide with the Chamber’s Chili Cook-off. There will be music and line dancing lessons.  Admission tickets to all events is $10.00 a ticket.
Show Fee is $15 (Limit 3 pieces per artist). All hang-able artwork must be wired side to side and be ready for hanging. There is room for some smaller 3-D works in the showcases and pedestals for the gallery.
