Brian Keeler will offer a plein air workshop for painters in Scranton, PA at the AFA Gallery on Saturday, August 15 from 9 am to 4 pm.
This event will be preceded by a gallery walk and slide lecture at the AFA Gallery the evening before, Friday August 14 from 7 to 9 pm. The slide lecture will present many of the important concepts and aspects of his teaching, so it is recommended that all participants attend this free presentation. The lecture will also be open to those not planning to be a workshop attendee.
The workshop is geared mainly for oil painters but also open to those working in pastel or acrylic. The fee is $100. Please contact the artist to pre-register before Friday, August 7. Keeler’s work will be featured in two exhibits during August at the Laura Craig Gallery and the AFA Gallery. Openings will be on First Friday, August 7 from 6 to 9 pm.
