June 2015 – AFA Gallery of Lackawanna Avenue in Scranton will present a unique art sale and fundraiser June 26th to the 28th, 2015! Small Art BIG DEAL is an innovative event that will fill the AFA Gallery with as many donated 4” x 6” works of art as its white walls can hold. Artwork of emerging artists will be interspersed with that of established artists. Pieces will be signed on the back only, ensuring the artists’ identity remains secret until the work is purchased.
Hundreds of collectors and art lovers are expected to vie for their favorite pieces, accessibly priced at $50 each. All proceeds will benefit the AFA Gallery.
Opening on Friday, June 26th with an exciting first-come, first-served ticketed reception, from 6pm-9pm, the benefit is expected to create quite a buzz through the art community. Admission is $25 and includes the earliest chance at purchasing the art, refreshments, light fare by The Epicurean Delight, and music by Rich Jenkins! The sale will continue on Saturday and Sunday June 27th-28th from 12-5pm each day with no charge for admission.
