LYNN GANO AND GARY MAGAKIS
July 3- 26, Opening receptions July 4 and 11, 6 to 9pm
AFA’s first floor gallery will be exhibiting work by Lynn Gano and Gary Magakis. Gano’s prints and drawings feature a relationship between human and incest figures. Magakis’s metal furniture is primarily influenced from the mountains and valleys of Pennsylvania.
This exhibition will be on display from July 3rd until the 26th. There will be an opening reception on First Friday, July 4th from 6 to 9 pm. And there will be a second reception the following Friday, July 11th from 6 to 9 pm.
ASENTE/LUCHETTI

AFA’s second floor gallery will be exhibiting work by Mike Asente and Moniques Luchetti. Asente’s work begins with found objects and his experiences. Asente comments on his work, “(it) represents my feeling that looking at the Universe begins with really seeing the everyday things, in person, remembered or removed.” Luchetti’s work comments on humans’ relationships with nature and as humans, we are “the ones that are deciding the fate of our ecosystem.”
