The Butternut Gallery & Second Story Books in Montrose has announced a Call For Entries for ‘FOCUS – Exploring Our Regional Sense of Place’, a juried exhibition. The theme is exploring our regional sense of place celebrating the artists’ unique perspective of where they live. Twelve prizes, including $1,000 for Best of Show, will be awarded. Works is to be delivered May 2-4, and the exhibit will run from May 17 through May 26. There will be an opening reception and awards ceremony (by invitation only) on May 17. Jurors will be Scott Canouse, nature photographer from Berwick, PA; Sandra Povse, Director of Galleries at Marywood University; and Bertha Rogers, co-founder of Bright Hill Press & Literary Center and curator of the Word & Image Gallery in Treadwell, NY.
