“Moving Forward”, a exhibit of the works of graduating seniors of Keystone College will take place at the AFA Gallery and ArtWorks Gallery on Lackawanna Avenue in downtown Scranton from April 4th through April 17. There will be an Opening Reception on First Friday, April 5th, from 6 to 8 PM. Refreshments will be provided by Chef’s Table Restaurant of Keystone College. Both galleries will be open from Tuesday through Saturday from 11 AM until 5 PM throughout the exhibition.
Nikki Moser, President of AFA and art instructor at Keystone, says,
“‘MOVING ON’ – twenty-two senior Keystone College Fine Art students will be doing exactly that. ‘Moving On’ to professional lives in the arts. We at AFA and ArtWorks are excited to host the Senior Exhibitions of these students on First Friday in April. Please come out and support these students as they celebrate the hard work toward their respective degrees and present for the first time publicly their individual bodies of work. The diversity and timeliness of the work exhibited is well worth the visit. Although I am without question biased, I compel you to spend some time with each artist’s work, and seek out the overlapping themes of this generation of artists as well as enjoying their individual stories. What better way to glimpse the future than through the eyes of the present?”
