Lackawanna County is seeking visual and performing artists who enjoy working with children ages 4-12 to work at our Art in the Park program. The program takes place outside under a pavilion/and or tent. Each visual artist will have their own picnic table. Performing artists can stroll or there are grassy areas and there will be an additional tent. The activities that work best are come–and-go immediate hands-on interactive activities. Simple is best – but they should also be fun and interesting. Use your imagination! Think inexpensive, creative and easy for supplies.
Below is the Call For Artist information sheet. If you are interested in applying please submit the application form, a proposal, and a one page bio or resume. Submit form by mail or email. Email submissions must be PDF. Lackawanna County Arts and Culture Department
