PRINTMAKING WORKSHOP: Using the Chine-Colle Method on Solar Plates
Marc Schimsky, artist and educator is offering another 2-day printmaking workshop for Broome County artists. This time it is on Chine-collé. Chine-collé is a special printmaking technique in which beautiful colors and textures can be achieved through the use of delicate handmade papers. It’s a lovely way in which to enliven old or new solar plate images. The workshop will take place at Marc’s studio in Montrose, Pa., on May 4th and 5th (Cinco de Mayo) from 10:AM to 2:PM each day. Fee for the workshop is $300.
