Something new in Scranton for this First Friday and you are invited! This month’s show features cameraphone photos. Show opening is Friday September 7 from 6 to 8:20pm in the CameraWork Gallery, downstairs at the Marquis Gallery at 515 Center Street, Scranton PA.
With the proliferation of the “smart phone” into our daily lives the cameraphone feature has become an extension of many photographers repertoire and has shone a light on some new photographers as well.
This show is a first of its kind at Camerawork Gallery where we tossed out our usual submission process and made an open call to new and old photographers to submit their cameraphone works of photographic art.
Another great feature of this show is that all the work will be available for sale at very affordable prices making it easy to take home local art without breaking the bank…or the pocket for that matter.
