The Vintage Theater Seeks Work based on local music scene For May Exhibit.
The Vintage Theater has served as a haven for new, up and coming and original artists of allmediums and genres for over three years. Returning for its second annual installment Rhythm of The Region II will serve as the theater’s gallery exhibit for the month of May 2012. This exhibit is dedicated to the history and passion of the local music scene. Original art pieces, photographs, promotional materials and even memorabilia are welcome for submission.
A heavy emphasis this year will be placed on new works created for premier use in this show and venue specific memorabilia.
SUBMISSION INFORMATION: All those who have work of any medium that reflect thepassion and history of the local music scene are encouraged to submit. Please e-mail photos of the work and/or a description a brief artist bio (if applicable) and contact information to info@scrantonsvintagetheater.com or mail images/information to 119 Penn Ave, Scranton PA, 18503 (please note digital submissions are preferred).
The deadline for this exhibit is April 27th 2012 at 6:00 pm.
EXHIBIT INFORMATION: The exhibit will open May 4th 2012 and be on display (in full or in part) till May 31st 2012. Details on pick up / return of work will be provided once submission isapproved.
