At The Butternut . . .

The Butternut Gallery & Second Story Books is open again, and
preparing to welcome the spring with the first exhibit of the year,
“Better Enjoyed Than Hidden: Works from Collectors”, scheduled to
open Saturday March 24. A reception will be held from 3-5 p.m.
that day. Everyone is invited!
The exhibit contains works primarily by American artists, including
the print above by Sister Mary Corita (Corita Kent). There are also
paintings, prints, photographs and three-dimensional pieces such
as the cup and saucer below, by an artist known simply as Eileen.
A portion of the gallery’s proceeds from the exhibit will benefit the
library.
The exhibit can be enjoyed during Winter Hours: Thursday,
Friday and Saturday 11-5 through May 12.
