The CAA now accepts CD entries as well as traditional slides. JPEGS on CD must be 300 dpi (dots per inch). If you are using a digital camera to photograph your work you will need to go into its menu and change the resolution to the highest setting before hand. If you are using a scanner, before scanning the image you will need to change the resolution to 300dpi or higher. Once the image is in your computer you can’t make it larger without losing quality but you can always make it smaller, so be sure to set the resolution high initially. Feel free to eliminate any unneeded background around the image and rotate it right side up but NO other digital manipulation (ie color balancing, brightness, contrast) is allowed. When you are happy with it, save it as a high quality JPEG with your last name and the title and burn it to a CD. Be sure to check that your CD works before sending it to us!
