A call for artists has been issued for the 45th Annual Juried Exhibition entitled ‘Art of the State: Pennsylvania 2012’. The exhibition will be held at the First Floor
Galleries of the State Museum of Pennsylvania in Harrisburg, PA. All artists who residents of Pennsylvania are eligible. The deadline for submission is February 29, 2012. The exhibition will run from June 17 until September 9. There will be an opening reception on Saturday, June 16, from 7 to 9 PM. The exhibition is sponsored by the Greater Harrisburg Arts Council and the State Museum of Pennsylvania.
Eligible categories are painting, photography, sculpture, works on paper, and functional or decorative craft works. More than $7,000 in cash prizes will be awarded.
