The Main Street Gallery is a project of The Greater Carbondale Chamber of Commerce.  “Terra Incognita”, presented py the Main Street Gallery, a project of The Greater Carbondale Chamber of Commerce will feature works from Earl W. Lehman and Ellen Silberlicht. Lehman, a landscape painter, Vietnam War Veteran, and Art Educator will showcase his paintings along with Silberlicht’ ceramic vessels. Silberlicht is an art educator at Honesdale High School and a true motivator for the arts.
Both forms of work represent a sense of animism as the viewer looks beyond the composition to dwell amongst the brush strokes and colorful glazes. A well immersed pair of artists dedicated to their art, as well as extending the idea of creativity to reciprocate with others brings full circle the life placed into their composition.
