“Manipulation Art Reality” at the Marquis Gallery in Wilkes-Barre

Marquis Art and Frame Second Floor Gallery, 122 South Main St., Downtown Wilkes-Barre presents “Manipulation Art Reality”, an eclectic, thought provoking, selection of work by regional artists Steve Braun, David Saxton and Amber Summers.
Steve Braun works with tiles creating one, two and three dimensional pieces, mostly in earth tones.  Amber Summers will be exhibiting fabric sculpture and acrylic paintings. The paintings are abstract with sometimes discernable images emerging. The brightly colored pieces are inspired by nature, spirituality and love.   David Saxton’s artwork style is a cross between pop art and street art created using a wide variety of mediums, including spray painted stencils, silk screens, collages and assemblage art.

The exhibit opens Friday, July 15 with a “meet the artists” reception from 5pm-8pm. Gallery hours are Monday – Saturday from 10am-5pm.  Call 823-0518 for info.
