Recently the Butternut Gallery & Second Story Books kicked off the third annual juried exhibit “focus–exploring our regional sense of place” amid the sunshine and revelers at the Wine & Chocolate Festival. This year’s exhibit is chock full of diverse, engaging work that reflects the quality of our artistic community here in Northeastern Pennsylvania.
This year’s judges, Gretchen Ludders, James Mullen and Frank Goryl, selected 67 entries for the show, and awarded more than $2,500 in prizes, including Best Painting to Brian Keeler for “Lambertville, NJ October Light,” and Best In Show to Tom Noone for “Betty Grable Table.” Honorable Mention was garnered by Earl Lehman for “Susquehanna County Light.”
